Yesterday we went to an Easter egg hunt at my friend Rachel's house (or, I should say, at Lucy's friend Gabriel's house). Rachel is Jewish, so she was a sport for hosting what came to be known as the Jewish Easter Egg Hunt! It was a lot of fun...and Lucy got to learn something about Gabriel's Jewish heritage by helping make hamentashen to celebrate Purim. Thanks, Rachel and Gabriel! And sorry for the mess :)
Tonight, we colored eggs at home. I joked to Jeff that I was treating each egg like it was one of my children...I was just so determined not to break any as I cooked them. I had bought two dozen eggs in anticipation of inevitably breaking some. In the end I broke four, so I think a yield of 20 colored eggs is pretty darn respectable.

I can't get over how different they look. They do have very similars mouths, but that is about it. Happy Easter! Your eggs are so pretty.
Will Lucy SCREAM if I leave a comment?
