Six Flags...More Fun

I turned 36 on Saturday...yep, closer to 40 than 30. Oh well...I am so happy with where my life is right now that I am not going to complain about being a year older. To celebrate my birthday, we did something a little different and took the kids to Six Flags New England. Lucy had a blast and Phoebe even had some fun as well. But judging from my goofy grin in these photos, it looks like I enjoyed myself a whole lot, too.

{lucy's first ever ride all by herself}

{thomas the train ride...passing the train yard}

{moi, birthday girl}

{phoebe was not having it at first...}

{...but she settled in for a good "flight"}

{i was just a bit too excited for a woman of my, um, age}

WOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Congrats on a job exceedingly well done. The girls (and their parents) will long remember this trip - a huge investment in a wonderful future for all of you. You really do look a bit happy in the photos Sara.....but then, you'll always be my own personal 3 year old.

sara,happy birthday and what better gift than to share it with your family. as for phoebe,i can still hear josh saying "nana, i cant look" when you went flying by on one of the scary rides with pop and josh was attached to one of my knees, keeping his eyes away from the view.
