Reading for the next class

During law school orientation, one of my professors told us that when we got behind in our reading, as was inevitable, we shouldn't try to play catch-up. Instead, we should just read for the next class -- and then catch up later. Trying to play catch-up often means that we are never up-to-date with anything. This makes total sense to me. So, for my poor dear and neglected blog, I'm not going to try to play catch-up. At least not now. I'm just going to start with the here-and-now and see what happens! So, for now, here's a glimpse of some late-April backyard action at our house...
