This sweater was knit years ago by my mom's Godmother, Mae, and I wore it when I was a baby (so, I should say, it was knit many, many years ago!). It has little doggies on it and they have rhinestone collars and actual little chain "leashes" attached to the sweater that lead into the pockets. Isn't it so precious? You should definitely click on the picture to make it bigger so that you can see the detail. I'm a pretty good knitter but I can't do color-block knitting like this, so I realize what a work of art it really is. And I think that Lucy looks great in blue.

The blog looks so great!! I love Lucy's sweater. We need to catch up but I think that both of us have had our hands full with our Lucys lately.
I can also appreciate the amazing detail on that sweater. It is a masterpiece and priceless because of its provenance. I hope I can see both the sweater and the wearer real soon. ;)
