When I was little, the character Laura (of Luke and Laura fame) on General Hospital became something called "Miss Star Eyes" for a cosmetics company. A spokesmodel I think. I have always remembered this for some reason -- I guess I thought this was a very glamorous title! Anyway when I saw this photo of Lucy, I just thought, aaah, Miss Star Eyes. Is it ok to think your own child is perfect?

Of course it's okay to think that your own child is perfect as long as you don't make her think that she has to be perfect....And, you will find, there is no such thing as a perfect parent (or a perfect child, really). Enjoy every day with your beautiful baby. These days fly by quickly and you will miss them so very much. I know, I have a perfect daughter!!!
