I had my 16-week prenatal appointment yesterday and all looks wonderful. We brought Lucy and she was a bit of a fuss-pot, which made it harder to just relax and enjoy seeing our little one on the ultrasound machine. Still, we did get a good glimpse "inside" and wow...there is really a baby in there! My doctor thinks I am doing just great and that the baby is the correct size, etc. I was actually surprised to learn that I have only put on a few pounds. I feel like it's much more! Here are two ultrasound photos. I must apologize for the picture quality -- I didn't scan these, they are photos I took of the photos!
Yep, that is a hand right there in the middle of the picture. The thumb might be in the mouth!
A nice profile shot...reminds me VERY much of someone else's profile on ultrasound...

OHHHH! Thanks for sharing. The profile shot is amazing. Hope you are feeling well. I finally cracked and let Lucy cry one night and that was all it took. She is sleeping soundly again. Thanks for the advice. I think I just needed reassurance that it was okay at this point to let her cry a bit. Miss you guys! Kiss Lucy from us.
