i assume you posted this for honest comments..i say no. it was probably hot way back when. now - i love some coverage too- i just got a great tankini with a swim skirt. the bottoms on the red suit make me think of baby/kid bloomers.
Ok, wow, so I guess NOT wins! I will continue my search. I think I don't like tankinis because the area they expose is my worst...lower stomach and hips. So it's like a big white bulge that is even more apparent because of the fabric above and below it.
Well, I actually liked it and thought it was super trendy (only a fashionista could pull it off!) and that it would look great with your coloring (hair and skin) But, having never met you, I guess your friends have voted it down. Sorry, but if I saw you by the pool in it toting two kids, I would think you were a very fashion-forward mom! btw- I totally agree with your displeasure of tankinis. They don't actually cover the belly bulge that tends to plaque moms and i think only highlight the part that hangs over. Just my two cents!
The key is finidng a tankini with a long enough/loose enough top! I have one that shows no mid-drift skin and does not cling to that post-baby area. I got it a couple years ago and have had a hard time finding another one like it. Also, I like the bathing suit pictured but it looks too tight on the model. Good luck finding the right suit for you!!
Ok, it is a definite NO. Jeff thinks the bottom is hideous and I suppose he is right (though he has no problem with the top!). Gap has just come out with a line of athletic wear and they have some cute bathing suits, so I may give that a try.
I live in a cozy yellow house in the Boston suburbs, where I dote on my two girls, love my husband, paint my walls orange, and adopt stray furniture. Have a peek at our happy little life!

Hmmmm. I think it would be cuter on you than it is on the model.

my tankini has full coverage over the belly (a must) and doesn't cling... good luck!
